CyberSec Engineer

A Cybersecurity Engineer is primarily responsible for protecting an organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats, breaches, and vulnerabilities. This role involves implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information. Cybersecurity Engineers are in demand across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and tech due to the increasing importance of data security and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor degree of software engineering or related discipline in IT
• Possess hands-on implementation experience in servers’ related projects that involves web and database servers
• Knowledge and skills of cloud environment such as Microsoft and Amazon is an added advantage
• Experienced in Windows and/or Linux platform and networking (LAN & WAN)
• Professional Network Security and CyberSecurity certification is an advantage
• Exhibit good skills in Power Shell, Regular expression (Regex) and other scripting language
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve system, server and network issues
• Ability to initiate corrective and proactive actions to minimize system and server outages
• Work Independently
• Candidate should be Malaysian citizen
